Does this look over-sharpened? I'm having trouble with the images I

load here on PN looking soft. So I had to over-sharpen it to prevent

that. Perhaps I've gone too far?

Nice photo of a very interesting place. Dramatic sky looks really great... :-)

Yes, it looks a little bit over-sharpened to me.

Regards.

Thanks for your honest assessment.  Greatly appreciated.  I've changed it out to a less sharpened version.  Hope this is better.  I really need to get another (bigger) monitor so I can better assess these things myself.  Thanks!  Will get over to look at your collection of images soon.

Christal, I like it! We visited there on a rainy day, very interesting place. Hey, with a name like Steele, how can you go wrong?

Roldao.....Thanks so much for your kind words and visit.

Larry....Glad to get the feedback from you and Roldao about the sharpness.  I was concerned about that.  Thanks so much!

Brett.....stark indeed.  The Badlands is an amazing place.  We were only there for 1 day, but I could easily have stayed a week.

Dan....it was raining much of the time when we were there also, but it made for some dramatic skies.  The sun did pop out a couple of times.  Gee....are you sure we aren't related?  I'm only half-joking.  My husband has such a big family that there are members I haven't met.  Glad to know you!  Thanks for stopping by.

Christal, Very dramatic photo!  After reading the other comments and your response to them I'm a little confused as to whether I'm looking at a reworked version or not, but the sharpness looks just fine to me if this is the version you were concerned about.

Yes, after the first comment about it looking too sharp, I did switch it out to a less sharp version.  It sometimes takes a while for the image to be replaced, so I'm not sure if the next comments above were commenting on the original or its replacement.  At any rate, I'm glad you find this okay, and I appreciated your comment!
