A Walk in the Golden Forest

The understory is just a blaze of color now, Red for the sumac, Yellow

from the Sassafras.

Add some Gold from the dawn sun lighting up some mist on the adjacent

prairie which has stated to diffuse into the forest. This is from

Cuivre River State Park in Missouri

What beautiful light!  You're fortunate; here in the Puget Sound area of WA State, vegetation seems to be going from green to yellowish brown.
