Light, depth and composition.

Last time I saw an image like this, was on an exhibition of the best golden age painters in Denmark. The painting measured 2 times 3 meters and was almost as good as your photography.

It's nice to be standing in the darker interior of the forest but looking out to the area where lots of light is hitting the fog.  Very good composition.

Now this one I find much stronger. I love the view from the shaded forest into the fog-filled clearing.
