Sometimes there's a very strong sense that the photographer is the outsider, left out of and even envious of the fun others are having. This photo gives me that unnerving feeling. Like a type of party crashing, perhaps.

Boys Town, Chicago. Pride Parade, 30th June 2013. I was soaking in the fun atmosphere and looking around for photo-ops... interesting geometry, striking color contrast, and great light...

 

I rarely caption my photographs. Always interesting to get the viewer's side of the story, to read what he/she sees, based purely on the photograph itself... [Terrace Party is a bare factual observation]

Hi Rajat,

A well shot image my friend.

Using the 60 mm at F/2.8 provided a high quality image  that competes with many mid-focal length telephoto lens shots that I have seen posted on PN due to f-stop settings employed.

A very nice presentation here.
