The candle dance was  a present for Tamar, the head manager of Mesila during 8 years ,( and is leaving  to continue her studies).

Angie from the Philippines lives in the country for  about  20 years, and  helps MESILA with the Pilippines community.

Tamar and angie has close relations

The Tel Aviv mayor Mr. Ron Huldaei came as well to bless  Tamar , for a very devoted work!

Excellent and emotional picture. You've captured the warm and intimate connection between the two women. I also like the accompanying explanation. Some pictures need no explanation but I find that others benefit from background information. This one has a story to tell along with the visual image. I hope everything is going well with you; I can't help but notice that you've posted very few pictures lately. I hope you are just regrouping before the next assaut. Best wishes, Jack

I agree, great emotional offering!  I know it's hard to get the framing and the timing (for expressions) to coincide.  I usually end up with one or the other.  :-( This one shows both.  The nice tight crop keeps the emphasis on the faces, where it should be.  Best, LM.

Yes, warm and full of emotion atmosphere. Is your merit to capture and convey this state of deep humanity, and the crop highlights this situation. Compliments, Pnina!

One of your strong suits as a photographer (and a person) is to be able to capture authentic human emotion - no frills, no embellishment, just honest feeling between two people in this case.  This image not only caught my eye; it also grabbed my heart.  It goes in my favorites immediately.

My best always,

michael
