Fabulous light and composition. How do you like your 800E compared to the 5D??

I particularly like the composition and strange configuration of rocks.  The warm light adds great colour contrast against the sky and there is enough detail to be admired, even in the shadows.

lovely shot- good clarity and color throughout.

Hard to tell, but I think this is roughly three pictures pasted together.  The top third has the lovely curve, the middle half has the aperture, and the bottom third has the sublime highlight on the near rock to compliment the mushroom in the back.  They're all good, but I don't think they belong together.  epd

The subject itself is fantastic, but you made the best of it, Wanghan, bravo my friend!

I meant that it was one shot with three things that didn't go together well.  sorry for the confusion.  i think they're all good, but too much in one bowl together.  jamie
