Lava Field

This image must be viewed large. My wife and I found the enormity and

starkness of the lava fields at the Dee Wright Observatory to be

fascinating. The texture of the rock and struggle for plant life was quite

special to see. Your comments are appreciated as always. Thanks. Larry

You DID portray the starkness - and the cloud formation as the only softness is wonderful.  Well seen and well captured.

Impressive. The cloud seems like it is steam coming from the volcano.

Tony, Yes it looks as if the cloud could be vapor from the volcoano, but it's not - the vocanoes here are fully dormant - for now anyway.  The wind was pretty fierce and those clouds moved away mighty quickly.  Thanks for the visit.  Larry
