Embarrassing only for the young woman behind the screen! I know I wouldn't want someone taking my photo as I got undressed for one of the least favorite type of doctor visits. The whole scene is very uncomfortable looking; at least my doctor has pretty wallpaper and a private dressing room with a door, and no windows for weirdos to peep through! He also has comfy padded stirrups. This scene looks like something out of a horror film and if I walked in there, I turn around and walk out! Embarrassing for me? NO! Uncomfortable? YES! Unnerving, makes my heart race. Nice capture with emotive quality (obviously, lol). Very well done.

It's a scene from a museum showing how a doctors practice looked around 1974. The patient behind the screen are actually a movie looping the woman getting dressed and undressed. I'm only taking credit for the photo - the setup credit should go to the museum - they really created a feeling of being "a fly on the wall".

LOL; you sure had me fooled! Well then, that explains the archaic set-up! Whew! After I wrote my comment I stopped to think that this could be a clinic in an unfortunate and poor country and this could be considered a blessing to the women there. I guess it is all relative and from my perspective of having health care coverage and the means to pay my bills this scene looked horrific! I know there are many people not so fortunate and hope anyone reading my comment would not take offense. Thank you for explaining Svend! :)

Well captured and an interesting historical perspective. The bottom right object heighten's my curiosity.  All the best and thanks for your recent visit.

I was born in 1963 - and the most scary thing about this exhibit is that things from my childhood now are eligible for a museum. In the words of Gary Larson - Nobody expects the "old-age-truck"

LOL! Well, if I ever see that truck driving in my neighborhood I will point it in another direction because I am not getting on board! I've never heard that expression; so funny! :)
