GerrySiegel 868 Posted October 25, 2013 I found this interesting. What would I shoot if I were watching this scene. Mainly I think I am interested in the artist and the model and his work. So I would move to left, widen the perspective on both bodies, and shoot from more behind him and keep the mother out of the frame. Maybe not possible, but it is my reaction that she is not essential to the story here. Your mileage may vary as they say in Detroit:-) The side lighting on the young miss is attractive and I like that part.... aloha, gs Link to comment
edbrown 0 Posted October 26, 2013 I like the composition. My eye moves around from the artist to the drawing to the mother and the river. The young woman's apparent awareness of the photographer, of having her picture made twice is at first distracting. Then I thought that her awareness of having her picture made twice is in some ways the subject of the picture. To be beautiful and gazed at. Perhaps that is what the mother worries about. Thanks for a very interesting image. ed Link to comment
