GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted October 2, 2013 Once again I am so surprised by the many bicycles, but elated that your country has embraced this mode of travel. So much better for the climate. Excellent capture of this woman who has at least 2 little ones to care for. I am surprised they do not use helmets there though. They are mandatory here in Ontario. Very good processing Rudd that we all enjoy. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted October 2, 2013 No one shows better than you the normal, usual life day by day in a city, with lot,lot of photos done in an excellent bw work(sharp and clear, nice tonality, contrast). This way of living and move easy every where, every day, every ones is unique I think in EU,and not from now but from a long time, what is very good indeed is that with all today possibilities the people still keep this custom, young, adult, old doesn't matter the age. gregverena 339 Posted October 2, 2013 Everybody in Holland, judging by your pictures, always seems so healthy, athletic, enjoying their main mode of transportation. It seems so natural! Of course your pics are technically always top notch. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 3, 2013 Outings on a bicycle is generally considered a sports activity here whereas it is really part of daily life activity in your home country and you show it so skillfully. As noted by others, helmets are compulsory/recommended here and even at that, many head injuries occur from falls. With your very large bicycle density and even with your surely greater familiarity with its usage, you must also have your share of incidents/injury.Anyways,excellent image!Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
luda_luda 0 Posted October 3, 2013 Hi Ruud, You did again an excellent job. I agree with Gail, your city have a lot of bicycles, perhaps the climate allows for this, because in Florida it would be terrible as a means of transport due to the hot weather!!!!Warm regards,LuDa Link to comment
