donnaalbers 0 Posted September 18, 2003 Kim, I'm very impressed with your hummingbird pictures. I've been trying to photograph a couple in my backyard but they're just too high up in the tree or they fly away from the feeder when they hear the shutter on my camera. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted September 19, 2003 Donna, It takes a lot of patience to get bird shots. The best way is to just go sit out by the feeders frequently and the birds get used to you after awhile. We are lucky with this hummer because he doesn't fly away when you click the shutter. I have better luck with bird pictures when it's rainy. We have a house on stilts, so we are up in the trees already, which is a plus. Thanks for your comments! Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted February 8, 2004 Thanks, Joseph. My challenge for this year is to get a good hummingbird-in-flight shot. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted April 16, 2006 Ujwal, this little bird will hang around pretty close. Sometimes I'm only a few feet away from him. Link to comment
