Bridal Veil Falls

Best viewed large. Bridal Veil falls in the Columbia River Gorge is easily

accessible and one of my favorites. This image was much more vibrant

before I converted it to sRGB for the PN uploader. Your comments are

Great shot, beautifully composed. I agree with what you said about losing something in the upload process to PN, I suppose it's unavoidable but this is still a great image regardless. I also like the shutter speed used here.

Larry, great fall shot. I like to see where the water comes from and where it goes to in fall shots (usually).This fulfills all requirements. The kink in the middle adds interest. AG

Adrienne,  Thanks.  The key to success in this image was having my daughter with me.  In addition to the pleasure of being together, she held my ND filter in front of the lens to cut down the harsh light and prevent white blow out.  The greens in the original image pop a lot more than in this posting.   Let's keep shooting the images.  Larry
