Yes, it's bleak with dark, gray clouds, dead vegetation poking through the snow, and intruding dark branches of dormant trees, and it's quite beautiful and well composed.  Very nicely done.

Really excellent Ross! Love how you framed things with the vegetation. The leading diagonal lines outward of the downed trees is great.
