Wayne Sadler 567 Posted September 20, 2013 There were musicians at this baseball game all dressed in vintage clothing, but it was apparent all was not just costume. Comments and critique welcome. Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted September 20, 2013 Wayne, I like the softness in the shot and light. It really helps you focus on the face. Nice image good color. You might try pulling out his face just a bit more. On my monitor he seems to be getting lost inthe shadows a little. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 567 Posted September 20, 2013 Tony,Thanks. Much appreciated.Charles,Thanks, Charles. I agree that the face needs work. I was about 15 to 20 feet from my subject and my background was not separated enough for my taste so I added a selective blur. I don't think the blur hit the face so much but the combination of my distance, selective blur and not sharpening contributed to the problem. I think I paid it little attention because it contributed to the vintage feel I was going for.Patsy,Thanks, Patsy. Coming upon this vintage baseball game was definitely a treat. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying the event. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted September 21, 2013 Hi Wayne, I agree with Charles on the soft light aspect. The image exudes a certain charm, no doubt from this gentlemans appearance. very nice capture.Sincerely,Holger Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted October 25, 2016 Love the composition here. The man's face is the strength of the image. I would reduce the size of the frame. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted October 26, 2016 Emmanuel,Many thanks. I would argue the size of the frame is why the subject is so prominent. Link to comment
