Out on a rainy, blustery day in a vineyard trying to film these Black Cockatoo's. They were having a great time whilst I was battling with light and the nasty conditions.

This one is just inside my "range of acceptability". Most weren't

This is so different than typical bird photographs, and I think that is reason enough in itself to take a second look! 

The contrasting colours and the dynamics of the bird as it stretches its wings gives it a kind of headless dark angel shape. 

I wonder how it would look in B & W ........Halloween image maybe?

 

Ahh yes I can see what happened now, all that prancing about in the grass, its head fell off ......you can see it just to the right : - ) 

 

I like it for all the reasons stated above!
