I love the Earthy colours in this image; the whole scene has a feeling of being weather-beaten and ravaged with age, which, of course, is exactly what it is. For me the photographs which let you feel the soul of the Earth are the special ones, and this one provides that extra-special insight which is so hard to get. This is what photography is about!
