Either there is just too much detail in this for my monitor to be able to show, or the image has suffered through over-sharpening, but this has a cartoony appearance like a scene from a George Lucas film, making it difficult for the viewer to connect with the landscape.

Looking at this led me to look at the Turnpike, which is a marvellous and stunning image and Hollow Brook, which I really like too.  With different processing you should be able to obtain as stunning and image with this too - just my two pennyworth.
