The image is very "compelling" the large piece of black out on the lower right forces the viewer to look at the eye of this actress - I also like her eye sight which seem leading the viewer to "break" the frame !

I absolutely love the tone, shadows, darkness, eyes.

 

Looking at the full frame, I think her head is just a little too large in part 1. because the rest of the frame is so dark that it stands out, but also 2. because we don't get to see much of the side of her face.

You and that Chris Blaszczyk dude should open up a portait studio. You two are about as good as you can get.
