rob_keith 0 Posted September 18, 2013 The detail in this photo is gorgeous. With a green foreground and background there is little to lead the eye through the picture, perhaps reframing to get a colour that contrasts more with the foreground so the subject stands out more would have helped. Alternatively some gentle post processing to alter the background colour?A slight reframe so that the eyes were positioned along the rule of thirds may also help give the picture a little more presence.Overall an amazingly well executed macro shot. Well done! Link to comment

trisha jean-angela 3 Posted October 20, 2013 Another great capture of this cute little guy! I think I mentioned to you before that I don't find them so cute when I discover one in my shower, but here on this leaf, he is adorable and right at home! Now, photograph one while you are in the shower and you won't get the same effect; you'll see...Very well done! Great detail! Thank you for sharing! :)P.S. Is this the same spider? Link to comment
LineMartel 6,260 Posted October 20, 2013 Yes, this was shot at the same time at a different angle... Link to comment
mountaineer1965 0 Posted September 11, 2014 I wonder if he is related to the Cookie Monster, LOL. On a serious note, the detail is stunning (you can even see your reflection in his eyes, all 4 of them). Depth of field is perfect and the exposure is spot-on. Wonderful image. Link to comment
