Good time of the day to shoot, I have always liked early morning or late afternoon for photographing. At noon with the sun is high, that’s when I nap.

Good strong detail but the image is a bit tilted, perhaps a little straitening would clean this up nicely

You're absolutely right.  I thought I had rotated these but it seems I neglected that.  I'll give it a go when I get back home.  I'm away at the moment.

Thanks for being the fourth person to comment.  After four people comment I move the picture into the "Favourites" folder.  best, j

Great house (I would take it for myself if I could), wonderful lighting and therefore mood, mood is the most important!  Bravo my friend!

Best regards

Truly a quaint house. I wonder how old it is. When I think of where the windows are located and what I figure the height of the foundation is, it probably has 'circa height' ceilings. Your lovely lighting at this time of day is so pleasant. I like how the perimeter of the property has a stone wall that ties in so well with the house an walkway to the front porch. I'm sure it is lovely inside as it is so well kept on the outside. Just the kind of place where one would have no problem 'hanging their hat' :)
