bryantrook 0 Posted December 30, 2003 I love perspectives like this. I try to get them whenever possible on large structures. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted February 17, 2004 It's interesting to see one of these shots on a somewhat cloudy day. Most of the time you see a solid background. This is more dynamic because of the clouds. The perspective you've chosen is also dynamic. I like the fact that the numerous distant cables are on the far side of the road. My eye rides the near cable up to the peak and then drifts back and forth between the peak and the 10 cable anchors on the bottom (the one's off in the distance don't come into play). The 11th cable without anchor gives the viewer something to think about--where does it end... Link to comment
toy 0 Posted September 14, 2004 A remarkable picture. What really attracts me is the first cable and the background around it. The sun has caught the cable on the top which causes the alternate pattern to emerge; dark sky - bright cable - cable in shadow - bright sky. The photo has really been captured at the right moment. adam_klaum 0 Posted September 15, 2004 I like the composition, but the use of a polarizer or graduated filter has darkened the top too much and too dramatically for my taste. This large area of somewhat flat tone takes away from the otherwise pleasing tonal range in the rest of the picture. Link to comment
suzums 0 Posted September 18, 2004 Excellent eye leading perspective. I really like how the bridge is against such a dramatic sky. Well done with the color toning. Good job! Link to comment
