Very beautiful!!

A beautiful study in terms of tone and texture. I am surprised that you achieved this, presuming that the sun is out, given the shadow beneath the figure.  Apart from the beautiful figure study, the perfectionist, histogramme lovers (sic) will appreciate this one, bravo. 

I appreciate the "privacy" of this image, but you don't only need a private model, you also need a private beach which is hard to come by nowdays . . : -)

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. John contacted me privately and I explained that the beach, a public area that is part of a Nation Park, was very crowded that day. It took a bit of work to avoid other sun bathers, the inclusion of whom would have been considered bad form. We often had to stop while people walked by and I did have to clone out a few when I captured them in the water. OBTW, that is the New York City skyline in the background.

Beautiful photo, it even can express a sense of freedom...Congatulations to you and Rebecca!
