camera_conjurer 1 Posted February 19, 2004 This is a photo I took of Winfield Moses at the lathe at Professional Camera Repair Service, ( better known as Marty Forscher's ) in New York City in 1982. It's not so much that I want it rated, it's that I want people to know who he was. I hope you can tell by the way he stood before this metal working tool, much as a concert pianist before his piano, that he was it's master. Winfield Moses was a brilliant craftsman and created many of the innovations that changed photography over the years he worked at PCRS and he was one of my mentors. He's gone now, and I just want people to know that he was among us once. I miss him. This photo was taken with a Polaroid 110 A or B and I liked to leave the triangular tab on the photos I took with the type 47 film, which I wish Polaroid still made today. Link to comment
bexta 0 Posted February 19, 2004 I like it, but the lighting could be better.. maybe that was your intention to show the working light this man uses (the small lamp) Link to comment
