Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 25, 2013 URBAN LANDSCAPES: City streets have a grittiness that even the raincannot wash away. Comments welcome.--Lannie Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 25, 2013 This has its own colorful charms but in terms of this series, I'm sticking with my original choice. It seems to balance the various elements perfectly. Link to comment
alfbailey 2 Posted August 26, 2013 I'm beginning to sound like Jack McRitchie's personal echo : - ) , but I do happen to agree with him entirely. Cheers! Alf Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 26, 2013 Jack and Alf, I think you guys are right. I think that I have pretty much exhausted the possibilities on these photos. Thanks for coming back by and giving me your final opinions. --Lannie Link to comment
edmondo_senatore 0 Posted August 26, 2013 Excuse me but what this picture is supposed to represent? Although technically call it bad .. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 26, 2013 It represents my efforts to see what this camera can do without either (1) a tripod or (2) a flash when shooting in near darkness. It was shot at ISO 12,800. I was quite happy with it myself, although it is certainly not perfect. Easier to shoot the hills of Tuscany. Plenty of light there. I admire your work. --Lannie Link to comment
edmondo_senatore 0 Posted August 26, 2013 OK Lannie,I apologize for my question, I still think you could test the quality 'of the sensor also enhancing further the composition, at 12.800 iso you can create very interesting images.good workEdmondo Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 26, 2013 Thank you, Edmondo. Your original question was a justifiable inquiry and challenge. I have tried to clean this up in the version viewable by clicking the left arrow. I am somewhere between a testing mode and true photographic mode at present. My long term project is to shoot a lot of shots in fairly dangerous situations at night, places where I dare not take the time to set up a tripod. Thanks for visiting. If you look at my favorites, you will see some of your pictures--and there are many more that I could have chosen. --Lannie Link to comment
