Wonderful scene and I love the composition.  The clouds add a great deal to the overall aesthetics, but I also like the subtle touches of mist and faint outlines of the distant shores.  Maybe consider darkening the upper portion of sky very very slightly.

Hi Alf-AM very pleased you like this image, believe it to be one of my best in a long time, completed about 12 versions & could not darken the lighter clouds to my satisfaction..What appeals to me is the contrast between the lighter & darker clouds & desired to maintain a lighter feeling to the image. It might interest you to know this was taken from the deck of our cabin.We are in a small bay & when the fall colours are at their peak,the colours across the bay & continuing all around the lake are a glorious mixture or reds & yellows & we can enjoy them from the deck or inside enjoying the warmth from a small wood heater.This, my friend, is living..
