Hi Sam,

This is a fine composition. The diagonal use of the frame allowed for the full body to be captured and in fine detail, too ! Well shot with the lens settings.

I have not seen this type of wasp before, so this is a visual treat.

I shot this critter while it was sitting on the bedroom wall, above Hilla's bed. She wasn't amused as you can imagine.

In Germany you can email a photo of any insect to an entomology website, where they'll tell you what it is. That's how I got this one's name too.
