dgv 1 Posted August 21, 2013 A casual portrait in natural light of my granddaughter on last Mother's day. Thank you for viewing and commenting. Link to comment
JatinderKeith 0 Posted August 22, 2013 Very cute child. She has a serious expression of a grown up; like a big mom holding her baby. Just a small question; what was the necessity of cropping her head? Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted August 22, 2013 Thank you very much for taking time to comment. As for the crop, I wanted to make it tight and I could not crop it at the bottom, obviously. If the chair was not there I would have made id a bit wider and include the top of the head with a bit of breathing space at the top. As it is now it appears aesthetically pleasing to me. Thanks again, regards. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted January 24, 2015 This image looks fine just the way it is. Seems these days, I see many shots where the crop does not include the entire top of the head and it is quite pleasing. What a beauty she is Dimitris. I imagine you adore this little angel. If this was my capture, it would be framed and out somewhere I could see it everyday. Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted January 26, 2015 I was playing around with a hasselblad lens attached to my Nikon D3. My granddaughter, she was staying with us the night before, just woke up, she walked into the kitchen and she showed me the picture she had painted for her Mum for Mother's day..I asked her to pose for a picture for Mum to go with her drawing ...she took a seat in the conservatory and this is the result...-:). Thank you for your lovely comment Gail!. Link to comment
