krpradu 125 Posted August 20, 2013 This was caught in last October and as is seen on top of mountain ,that high is thee round 2500m,was a bit of snow but down in the field was almost +30*C,a splendid autumn day, most of the trees were green. What I liked here was the nice gentle light from right that created a pleasantly mirror effect on the water.Sometime trees branches can be seen floating on the river as left one.Last month I saw on a affluent of this a beaver fam.that is unusual for this area, someone(don't know why) populated here,I know for what in there native area are useful but not sure if here are too, field round the river are farmed with corn and instead beaver to eat what usual did they devastated the field.I think that mankind don't do sometime good experiment that is possible to change in bad things nature balance.Just a short story about this area, but hope to enjoy as I did this moment caught. GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted August 23, 2013 Thank you for the story behind this river and the conditions of the day that you made this capture. It is a lovely shot, and your processing is excellent! I love to see the mountains in the distance. You have such diverse landscape where you live and the scenes you capture are a testament to that. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted August 23, 2013 Yes, I can certainly enjoy the moment you've captured. I really like the tones of the trees relative to the mountains in the background, as well as the gradations of light coming into the scene from the right. Nice work. Link to comment
