OK, it's time to fess up. I took this shot from an elevated walkway in the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary in Keenesberg, Colorado, not with a kite. The walkway is a mile long. It passes over separately fenced area where lions, tigers, and bears and wolves and others are separated by species and groups. Each lion pride has it's own territory. It's impressive and fun. The animals don't pay attention to the tourists and you don't get very close - 30' or so above the ground, but it's still fun, especially because so many of them are large. The bear in this image is probably around 400 lbs!
