Sleeping Bear (As Viewed From A Big Kite)

You answered the question, "does a bear sleep in the woods?".   Lots of bear in the news lately.  Not sure about how you did this with a kite, but keep safe!

I too, am not sure how you achieved this with a kite but I am happy you did! Very unique shot! Well done. Thank you for sharing. :)

OK, it's time to fess up. I took this shot from an elevated walkway in the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary in Keenesberg, Colorado, not with a kite. The walkway is a mile long. It passes over separately fenced area where lions, tigers, and bears and wolves and others are separated by species and groups. Each lion pride has it's own territory. It's impressive and fun. The animals don't pay attention to the tourists and you don't get very close - 30' or so above the ground, but it's still fun, especially because so many of them are large. The bear in this image is probably around 400 lbs!

 

Thanks for "fessing up" but you should get 20 lashings with a wet noodle! LOL! :)
