In one day my walk on a vast hills area I stop for few minutes in the

shade of some tree, was warm,no wind just a calm summer day,and in a

moment I heard this boy whistling looking for his dogs and flock that

was in right on this hill, four big sheep dogs came to him and

cringed(unfortunately can caught that moment that was happened beyond

some bushes ),I hope I gave you with this short story the feeling of

that moment.Comments will be appreciate, many thanks.

Your introductory story helps me understand this photo as the scene you saw, but even without the story the photograph would still get my attention.  In particular, the relatively small size of the boy, right in the middle of the road.....I like the scale, and I like the idea of being out in this large and rural landscape on his own, perhaps enjoying a summer day.  For me, it brings back memories.  If I were really imaginative, I might make a connection between the boy and the flock of sheep on the hill on my own, but that would just be a guess and it's a long shot without your help, but here it's not necessary in order for me to still appreciate and enjoy the photograph.

After reading Stephen's comment with which I can identify fully, the only other thing I can mention is the lovely composition and excellent tonal range of the image. All the very best,

Stephen, for those who experienced in there life such  rural scene(in fact so close to nature and one of oldest occupation) is easy to imagine the connection as you did,and to me is very important that the viewer feels what in fact I saw that moment.Transilvania(Romania)is a wonderful location with lot of old villages and places where life(except maybe some antennas,or electric street lights or other few technological new things))is like hundred of years ago, most of people produce what they need.Lot of people know maybe only that Transilvania is the Dracula's land, but is more than this and another splendid thing to see are fortified churchs most of them from XIII century.

I appreciate as always your sincerely comment, thank you and good light.

It is a beautiful capture with such a great story within. It is so nice to see a capture where the young shepherd boy is continuing in the family farming. I could see the sheep on the hill already but did not realize this boy was looking for them. Thankyou for the story Radu. It sounds like you had a very enjoyable vacation.
