The Angel

This "big" angel (about three meters of height...) is a great sculture

in marbel and bronze of the Bernini's school, in the Basilica of Santa

Maria Maggiore in Rome; it's one of four angels in the lodge of

benedictions. For all my dear friends,...Ciaomau!

Epic viewpoint, heavenly toning. 

A lovely angel with great tones and texture my friend. The feature are a mixture of male/female, the body is male and the hand gesture if female! Are we all a miture of both male and female and we are all sensitive as females and we are all strong as males...fantastic presentation Mau!

A very nice scene on display here.

The 68 mm zoom setting at F/10 is not what I would have used , since there is an obvious roll-off of sharpness in this image due to F/10. However, on many stone statues , the gross details are sufficient to show the artistic value from such works.
