The play is called ''with unarmed forces'

The artists and creators are; IDIT HERMAN , DIMITRI TOLPANOV (in this photo) , IRINA ANDRIEVA., and ACHILES HARISCOS( ).

The play is about war and peace, with all the voices aspect. Here  the voice aspect is as an army battalion...walking...

Thanks for viewing.

a stunning composition, a visual delight, an intriguing scene... and remarkable processing making full and sensitive use of the elements on offer

I especially like that the man himself is barefoot. It speaks to me that at heart we are all the ages we have ever been; it's as if he's directing the footsteps of his younger self.

Wow, this one's great, Pnina. It presents a bizarrely comic moment (those shoes, what's with the shoes?) with an appreciation of the performance artist as pure sculpture. The figure is so strongly defined and fills the picture plane so beautifully we don't really need to see his head. The shadows and tones are superb as well and enhance the theatrical aspects of the photo. The picture immediately captured my attention, not only caught it but keeps it. It's a delightful image and one that will bear many repeat viewings.

It was really interesting to read your impressions so different of what  it symbolised at the play.

Anyway ,Dimitry was a real wizard playing with the walking shoes ,with the battalion steps  in the BG....

Fine shot and very well composed. Fun too. Those hands, and their shadows, full of expression, are precious. A little more light on the shoes might be good, though.

Beautiful play of light, shadows and textures. The thematic could unfortunately be actual.

This low key latest offering of yours would have more meaning to the casual viewer if they could have seen the original play but from your description I think I get the picture. (pun intended) :-)  What never ceases to amaze me is the ability of these modern digital cameras to easily capture subjects in dim light.  Seems to be working OK for you.  Best, LM.

Len,I'm sorry it took me so long to answer, but I'm photographing a lot these days.  It is a lot of work,  I will tell you more about it when the pressure will take of....

Glad you liked the work, even thoug you have to "lean" on my explanations...;-))

I will visit you as well , soon!

How I like those stripes, which meld figure and ground together.  Cutting off the head is brilliant.  Hands and feet alone.  Great!
