Second Chance For Dance

I have posted a darker version of this with high contrast and not

much detail. I decided to make a second version, this one, that has

more detail and overall lighter. And I added two Babylonian boars to

the mix too. Your comments?

I like this one better than the first, darker version. It adds a little more context and the inclusion of the boars contributes another, strangely mysterious element to the picture. I don't know to what extent you PSed this picture but the resulting image projects the impression that this scene could actually exist in some world, if not necessarily the prosaic one we usually inhabit.

Thanks. I have a pretty good eye for matching looks/integrating imported elements into an image. In this case the ballerina shot was years after the building photo. The boars are from a clay plaque in the Pergamon museum in Berlin (fabulous if you like archaeology). The building is in Germany too, part of a fort on the Rhein river if I remember correctly. My girlfriend is German and every few years we take a vacation in Germany and I take lots of pictures.

Excellent, Chuck.   Solid, yet leaves a lot to the imagination.

An impressive image. I prefer this version too, more space around that works well for composition and scene.
