Very nice light.  I wonder if there might be a way to place the directions sign so that it wasn't "blocking" the building.  Like perhaps if you could move a bit to the right and get the camera closer to the ground so that the sign was just on the left edge of the building with the sky providing the backdrop.  You've done a bit of dodging around the sign to make it stand out more, and the clouds are even darker to the left.  IMO, I'd like to have the sign so that it was clearly visible even if not entirely distinct, and leave out the dodging entirely, simply because it's too apparent as a processing technique that has been applied.  Another alternative is to move to the left, but I don't think you want this sign right in the center of the frame.

I agree with the above. I like the colors and line of the wall and the late day sun. Sometimes it isn't possible to do things that are suggested but if it were possible I think it would be more pleasing. The other things for this image as it is. If you were to just reveal the details of the sign without the halo from the dodging it would be better IMO. The other thing to me at least, I find the two figures beside the pole distracting and would remove them. I like the blur of the child running towards the wall as it adds a bit of action and mystery to the image. I did a quick edit to show what I mean, just my 2 cents.
Regards
Greg

A fabulous photo but Stephen has already discussed my concern with the sign post position and the dodging that makes the sky around the sign post too light!.
