Fire! v.2

I think this is an eksample of a press photo that needs a tekst to explain the story. The image in itself does not tell much.

I do like the composition, except for the slight tilt - it's either too little or too much - this just seems - well crocked. The focus on the girl with the bewildered firemen in the background works well.

You are probably right. This was a test/training run for the local FD. Lots of trucks, lights, ladders, smoke machines. The whole neighborhood was out watching them practice...except of course for my nieghbor's daughter who was thrilled about showing off the two worms she had just found in the yard. I couldn't set up the shot...just grabbed and pressed the shutter.

Oh its a drill.

Pressphotography often are about getting an angel on the photo. Angeling this scene could be the contrast between the serious background and the happy kid. Worms might even be distracting.

Still - i like the press photo feel (kindoff old school) of this.
