Sam,  You have a nice panoramic wide angle here.  Idea:  to compensate for the washed out looking haze in the background that is a typical mid-day problem, you might want to add a neutral density filter look in Camera RAW..  Just a thought; I realize you may be deliberately wanting the image to be bright to typify mid summer.   Larry

thanks very much for your constructive critique.

That washed out blue haze is very typical of the landscape during that season on this latitude.

I've left it as it is, not trying to create my own idea of a nice landscape.

Hope you'll understand my philosophy.
