i have only seen this one and #3 this one i like the best mainly because it is just fractionally a wee bit darker.  that darkness creates a mood which i find attractive.  particularly like how bottom two petals fade into the blackness of background.  have always loved the intensive colors of the iris and you have captured those colors well. nice work!

Yeah- this is a little "moodier"  the light has such an influence on an image - so glad to hear from you- have you finally recovered from your busy summer? getting enough time (bored enough  :))  to visit PN? Just kidding- thanks for the note.
