That is some turtle and I like your composition  very much.  You have a very contrasty scene and you seem to have managed it fairly well. My friend Mike Mancil would disagree with me but I might want to open - just a tad - those very black areas on the right side.  This is just a personal preference but I am sure you will get varied opinions.
