From an island on the Norwegian coast

This is from a small island called Grip. It is located on the Norwegian

coast, and people lived here until the early 70s. Now all the houses are

maintained and used as resorts. A most beautiful place.

Great image.  It looks very peaceful and comfortable.  I like the angle and the way you incorporated the flowers.  Fantastic colors, very nice image.  A place I'd like to visit someday.

The use of a wide angle lens I find most appropriate here, beautiful spectacle a little bit darkened, masterfully composed with the flowers in the front plan and all in focus due to the short focal length lens! Brilliant!

Thank you Ricardo and Larry. This is a small island 14 kilometers from the mainland, and the weather can be quite tough in the wintertime. To get in touch with other people they always had to use a boat. Most people who lived there had fishing as a profession. At the most a little more than 100 people lived her, and it suffered the same fate as many other small fishing villages along the Norwegian coast. People moved to larger towns and cities. Anyway, it is a most beautiful place, and I will present a few more photos on PN.
