Hi AJ,

A wonderful Nature scene accented by the presence of this fine bird.

The 500 mm effective focal length  (actually 89.5 mm true optical focal length) shot at F/5, provided acceptable results from this wide zoom range Point and Shoot camera.

The Fujifilm design approach has always been different from other cameras, as I have tested all the main P&S cameras in my lab. On some occasions, I have been able to test only the zoom lens assembly itself, to characterize the designs independent of the sensors that they image on to.
