Please view large. It was noon at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, far

to bright to shoot out in the sun. With about 15 minutes to shoot, I headed

into the shade of the hosta garden and found these interesting ferns. As

always, thanks in advance for your visit and comments. Larry

Adrienne,   Thanks for your visit.  I haven't seen many images from you recently. Am I missing some?  I always look forward to your images, especially those from New Zealand.   Larry

Larger view fits on my screen perfectly and looks so much better than the smaller version.  In fact it looked so good I was tempted to keep it there : - )

Wonderful clarity and detail!

Best Regards

Daniel,  Thanks for your visit and comment.  I find this image quite calming and restful.  I especially like your sea images.  Thanks again, Daniel.  Larry

Alf,  You have a wonderful sense of humor; and as I have said before, you are a terrific writer.   Perhaps I should make a screen saver out of this one, eh?  Did you decide on an image to submit for the B&W contest?  Best to you.  Larry

I think this would make a wonderful screen saver! Go for it!

This is one of those images that will never get the attention it rightly deserves becvause it doesn't immediately jump out at the viewer.  The larger view is something else entirely!

The jury is still out ref the B & W choice of photo's, its quite amazing that in terms of popularity, after submitting three images, none of them have streaked ahead or fallen behind.

I have a couple of weeks left to decide, but currently I am erring towards "Counting Crows"  But I can't decide if that is because I am unduly biased because I just love that location.

Cheers Larry!

Alf
