The clouds were moving very fast and breaking up just as rapidly. I

waited, enjoying the entire process. Your comments and suggestions

would be appreciated. Thanks.

The central composition and the moving cloud are pleasing to view, the element that makes this appealing for me is the fringe of contrasting  silhouetted trees at the bottom.

I like it very much!

I personally don't care for the trees but also can see that it would not have been possible to get this otherwise splendid shot unless you develop wings.

Stephen,  I like this one.  It looks like vapor coming out of a volcano.  Works nicely in vertical format.  We went to Glacier in 1980 - dating myself - it's amazing how sadly the glaciaers have receded.  Nice midday image.  Larry

Doug, Alf, Joseph, and Larry, thanks for visiting and offering comments.  Larry, this does look like a mid-day shot because of the lack of shadows on the peak, but it was taken relatively early in the morning.  The trees in the foreground are silhouettes because the sun hasn't yet reached them and they are in deep shade from the mountain behind me.  I think the time was about 7:00 a.m., assuming my camera clock was correct but set to a different time zone.  I've read that the glaciers will likely be gone by 2030, although one model suggested 2020 for their complete disappearance.
