While the dipper may be my main subject, I'm also drawn to the colorful

rocks and the effect that a section of flowing water has on the overall

scene. Your comments and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

That might be the fattest dipper I've ever seen!  Love the color in the rocks.  1/10 sec shutter speed?  Not sure I've ever seen a dipper sit still for that long of a span. ;-)  Well done!

Thanks, Doug.  I think it just puffed out its feathers and was content to rest for a while, allowing me to try several shots.
