Midway Geyser Basin, once again. I found that many of the colors are

created by thermophilic (heat loving) bacteria. In many places, the soil is

hot to the touch. The water is even hotter! Somehow the bacteria thrive

and produce these colors.

Ben, a friend of mine that sells art advised me to make a large enough watermark in a place where, if photo-shopped to hide, would make the photo unusable.  At one time I was flattered someone would want to use my art.  But if they are selling it?    Many use small watermarks in a corner and they can be cropped out, cloned, or content aware healed to remove.
