We all are more involve with our elderly parents now than ever

before in the history of humanity. What will be your conection with

your parents? It is different for each one of us. And I know that what

ever we do, it is exackly what we have to learn with that decision!

Thank you for looking. Rates /comments highly appreciated.

These are two wonderful documentary photos. The natural light is nice here. Of course, the love you have for your father comes through in the recording of the simple, every-day tasks that must be done.

Hello Jorge, These are emotionally beautiful as well as photographically. The natural light makes that possible and you used it very nicely. Have a good day and enjoy your parents for as long as you can.

Sincerely,

Holger

Hi Jorge,

A wonderful story told through meaningful images.

Betsy and I can relate to these experiences that we had shared with our parents when they were with us.

Best Regards my friend, Mike

These are emotional photos-washing somebody's feet shows great concern and love . You portray a situation from which our society shies away! Thanks for sharing!

La foto con una emoción impactante. Me encanta a ver que todavía existe aquella humanidad, cariño y cuidado de los hijos hacia sus viejos padres. Eso es lo que todavía guarda este mundo de un desastre total. Un documento de primera fila. Felicidades.

When we truly love our parents, we realize that things have come 'full circle' when they reach this age. What they so lovingly did for us when we were babies, we now do for them. At 96 your Father seems to do what he can, but in that other photo you posted, it does seem his mind is declining. Many things that are important to us for them, no longer seem to be important to them. I am sure he felt much more comfortable once his feed were washed. Reminds me of ANOTHER who didn't shrink at the thought of 'washing someone's feet'. Beautiful images Jorge.

You touched a nerve here.  Look at the lovely responses and reactions to this lovely photograph.  It is beautiful in content and in the context you put it. He looks so nice at age 96.  It is so nice not to just shove him to a nursing home like so many people do, but to take care of him so lovingly.  I love the photograph in the middle of this too.  A picture of love
