I've never tried anything like this Bill. I think you did a very good job. Some of your brushes used on the ends of the hair left an effect I really like!!! Well done!

I like this.  It kind of reminds me of old films that I believe had added colour.

The painterly effect here accentuates the natural highlights and colours to the best effect.

I wonder though if a pale outline of her shoulders etc would counteract  the "floating" kind of effect. Or possibley an oval kind of frame?
