This is a new version of an old series of shots taken in 2010. First edition

was done by using nine bracketed shots to produce a huge tonemapped

file and an HDR final image, which had some drawbacks and faults in

edit process ( halos, harsh contrasts, and lack of details at 100%

preview ), but the origin files had good propensity to be a good photo. So

i reworked, using three of the main shots ( and two ancillary of other

shots in the same bracketed series ), using advanced luminosity

masking technique ( thanks to original concept by Tony Kuyper and

invaluable tutorials provided by landscape photography legends Chip

Phillips and Zach Schnepf ). Without these two techniques ( HDR and

luminosity masking ), process of such heavy burden of light in such

conditions as here is actually impossible. Many thanks for your

opinions.

Lighting, colors, composition, sun rays, mood...seven, seven for sure, my friend! Congratulations!

Hamid: Thank you very much for the most valuable explanation of technique and learning sources. Congratulations on the much work you put into making this image, which is very well worth it, aside from being quite a magnificent scene, simple yet elegant. Congratulations on all of your great work.

Great photo with difficult lighting -- you're to be commended for your persistence and willingness to learn or improve your editing techniques, and also for recognizing the potential in an image that hadn't yet been realized.

Hello Hamid, The image has amazing clarity especially considering the difficult lighting which you have managed very well. A great sky BG for this great landscape shot.
