In the plan of Castelluccio, central Italy, each year you can experience a

wonderful show of colors and flowers. The lentils' fields, for square

kilometers, fill up with flower of various colors. The phenomenon, in

italian, is called "la fiorita" that means "the flowering".

Here, far ion the background, you can see the hilltop town of

Castelluccio.

Very nice area. I planned to go there this summer, but it was not realized. Maybe next year. It looks tempting.

What is good, in these cases, is that we got a new chance each year. So... let's wait "la fiorita" 2014!
