I really like this...so many things to see...the compositional elements draw me and and lead my eye throughout the image....very nice tones/textures/colors...and my favorite part is the woman who appears to be taking a picture...though I think you captured the nicer image...well done.

I don't know your first name, so I just call you J. Thank you so much anyway.

Nice location and idea for this shot is very good, looking this I think what about to have same position but for a sunset moment with low light or a cloudy day.

I will repeat Pierre : Beautiful picture with inner framing!

I always like to see the pictures from the "visitors" to my city and neighborhood - many times there are great images about something which is for me an "everyday" and therefore passed unnoticed.

All the best!!!

Pierre, Radu and Nebojsa: Thank you for good comments. Radu, I think your suggestions are interesting. Maybe I'll do something about it. Nebojsa, we spent two weeks in your country, and we enjoyed every minute, and especially the beautiful ancient cities. I hope to come back sometime.

Best regards
Eystein

Perfect exposure and tones. Eystein, make a life size print (may be with a crop of the foreground) and put it on a wall in your living room. It will give a feel that you have a door opening to such a beautiful view.

Very nice photo.  I too like the woman who appears to be taking a picture.  Had she only known that if she moved back a few steps she'd have a much more interesting shot as you demonstrate so very well.  The colors are spectacular.  Very well done.

I wish I was the girl standing taking that image Eystein!!! Such a beautiful view!! But you obtained even more with your image!! Excellent detail, even down to the sheen on the cobblestones, beautiful!

Love the color, the framing, and the painting like effect. Also nice job with the lighting and capture of detail in the shadowed area. I notice the depth in the picture. I only have a point and shoot, but I have always had trouble with getting good exposure when I am trying to get both the foreground and distance clear. I am sure you have much more experience and more versatile equipment. But I think this is a great shot. You made it look easy when for a lot of people this would be a difficult shot to really pull off. And I really love the lady in yellow.
