Eystein 1 Posted July 16, 2013 I like the way the trolleybus is running into the fog. Regards Eystein Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 16, 2013 You always catch me with your images. They feel like what a weary but sharp-eyed traveler might see on some solitary journey. Link to comment
donna pallotta 108 Posted July 17, 2013 Ilia, i like this crop the way it is; i tried a crop without the black rectangle, and at different amounts of the black, but the black rectangle in top right strangely balances the foggy scene; almost echoing the shape of the grass ground. it, along with the central-ish positioning of the pole, provide gravity to hold the trolley down; and all the fog space in front of the trolley, as Eystein comments, is so important to the atmosphere and realism of an almost slightly surrealistic or nightmarish scene. i echo Jack; your work pulls me in.. ;-} dp Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 18, 2013 I can see a sympathetic cricket with his tied antennas, inspecting by mind, being tired of tactile inspection, looking for tomorrow and, by his enigmatic smile, being faithful :)Splendid !Congrats Ilia ! Link to comment
AmyHelmick 0 Posted July 23, 2013 I very much like the black corner. It adds balance and interest. Very good framing IMHO. Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted July 23, 2013 Thanks, folks. I hope your realise this is very old shot (VOS). Appears here in it's very own ur-quality form, practically unedited and uncroaped - courtesy ORWO films and all that GDR stuff. Personally I look at it as an ultimate visionary thing in all its pride and glory beyond the human comprehension. Thanks a lot for your kind attention, comments and rating. Link to comment

iliafarniev 13 Posted August 5, 2013 And now it is no more. In this way - no, thanks. Was there. Saw it. Shut it. Carred all the way to this wonderful share point right here and that's it. No more mister nice guy. After all this has been 200 years since Søren Kierkegaard was born in 1813 AD to tell us everything. That's time. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 3 Posted August 10, 2013 The cables look like tentacles belonging to some alien being ready to pluck the bus and it's inhabitants right up from planet Earth! But then, maybe I am watching too much sci-fi lately in the early morning hours when I can't sleep! Great job! Love the hazy quality to the light too! Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted August 14, 2013 Thank you Trisha. Glad you like the picture. In this conjunction I'd think of cuttlefish able to go nearly invisible in more than one way. A dream come through for a dedicated autist off the payroll. Thanks again. Link to comment
